Thanks to Mom & Dad for taking a chance on this kid, even though you were only kids yourselves. AND Thank you all SO MUCH for birthday wishes and so much love across the interwebs! I loved reading all of your messages and I am sending out tons of hugs and bunches of love to you all. Can't wait to see you along the trail!

Little Opry

Mr Music will make his debut on his second Opry stage (the first being the Grand Ole Opry) tonight at the Little Opry in Margate. Literally just a few seats left. Come here Billy play the spheres.

Tomorrow, Jeni & Billy play the Little Opry in Margate! Then Billy will have played the Little Opry and the Grand Ole Opry. :)

Back to the countryside

Time to leave London and head into the countryside! We have three concerts at all new places coming up in the next week, so we hope you, dear friends, will spread the word!

Snicket

On to London for two shows this weekend. See you in a few weeks Yorkshire! Thank you for the warm welcome and a beautiful start to our tour!

Here is our favorite snicket or ginnel in Penistone. Penistone means "hill town" and it's the highest market town in England.

Once again enacting the mysteries of "Cupboard Dry" in Britain, having no idea what it means, but sensing it has the most fairy tale potential for our clothes. 

Ancestors cross the sea

Bringing the songs and stories of Appalachia across the ocean! We arrive in Britain tomorrow! Concerts Friday thru Monday in Filey, Ainderby Steeple, and Barnsley (two shows)!

Dansko had no red Mary Jane shoes this season, so I painted my brown ones. Pictured are my great great grandmother, Sarah Catherine Margaret Nipper Hylton, and my second cousin Charley Smith, or as I call him, Baby Charley, the Lightning Boy. More about them both at our shows!
